Hi there. I’m Kaitlyn, a 20-something living in Atlanta and still wondering why I ever left my sweet college town. When I started this blog almost five years ago, I focused on the trends in social and digital marketing that fill my days as a Brand Planner at Moxie. However, I quickly learned, as much as I LOVE what I do, see more on that here, I loved writing about figuring out this thing call life more.
See, here’s the thing. You graduate college, you find a job, you create a new life, a new you and suddenly there is no manual telling you what to do next. And as much as I’d love to live life through my Pinterest boards, it’s not exactly a feasible option (see the 20-something part). So here we are. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you will enjoy my stories, and maybe even feel a little closer to conquering the world, I know I am.
A little more about me
I’m a Brand Planner at Moxie, a marketing agency in Atlanta. I’m also a runner, explorer and up to try almost anything once with enough convincing. Outside of work, you’re sure to find me in one of two places: enjoying the outdoors or making things, Pinterest-y style. I’m also a big fan of sunsets and guaranteed to gawk at and photograph any beautiful church I can find.
I am an avid bulldog fanatic and a 2010 graduate of The University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and minors in Spanish and New Media. Prior to my current role with Moxie, I worked for The Coca-Cola Company with the World of Coca-Cola and the Global Interactive Marketing team focusing particularly on social media.
This blog is a collection of my thoughts and opinions on the ever blurring edges of grown-up-life, work-life and figuring it all out one step at a time.
A special thanks goes out to Paul Duke, a friend from UGA who helped me brainstorm the name of this blog. Show him some love @MountainManDuke on Twitter.
